Use our top-rated Chamber Resources — the monthly newsletter, The Edge, and our new and improved website, ButlerCountyChamber.com to your advantage. New members receive a free business listing in the newsletter and members can submit company or event news to be featured in the Member News section of the newsletter. You also receive a Free Business Listing with a “Link” to your Website on ButlerCountyChamber.com. Participate in our annual Expo at the Clearview Mall, numerous event and symposium “Mini Expos”, and you will have direct access to other area businesses as well as the public.

We offer discounted healthcare insurance options through Pennsylvania Chamber Insurance; energy solutions through Premier Power Solutions, membership benefits through advertising cooperatives with Butler Business Matters and 2 + 2 discounts with Friends Business Source, in addition to numerous other member to member services. We promote a variety of advertising options via our newsletter, website, membership directory and Butler County map. Five business training seminars sponsored by NexTier Bank and Conley Resort are conducted annu- ally by Sandler Training, in response to our members’ needs. With the expertise of Butler County Community College, and the generous support or our membership, we conduct annual symposiums. Energy is the focus of the first, followed by Emerging Technologies, and Emergency Preparedness.
We’re all about… Networking, Collaboration and Regional Partnerships.
We offer geographically positioned “Meet-N-Move” Net- working luncheons cooperatively with regional chambers of commerce. Two March events, one hosted by Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, sponsored by Consolidated Communications and C. W. Howard Insurance Agency and the other hosted by the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Township, have been sell outs. Spring event in cooperation with the Ellwood City and Zelienople-Harmony Area Chambers of Commerce is hosted by Olde Stonewall Golf Club and sponsored by ESB Bank and ARMSTRONG. Two fall luncheons, one with the Grove City Area Chamber sponsored by Grove City College, and one in Cranberry Township with the Zelienople-Harmony Area and the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber sponsored by Consolidated Communications, end out the year. Our Chamber has taken a lead role in forming a Regional Business Advocacy Council comprised or 16 regional development agencies and chambers in Western Pennsylvania. Many of our after hours mixers are cone jointly with area business associations. Twice annually we partner with PA CareerLink of Butler County to conduct a Job and Career Fair, attracting hundreds of employers and potential employees. It is our mission to provide the maximum opportunities for our members to do business and by expanding our scope of involvement we automatically expand your territory of involvement.

We annually recognize at our Annual Dinner, memberbusinesses for outstanding innovation and service as“Chamber Business Champions.” In 2006, the past presidents established the “William A. Morgan, Jr. Entrepreneur of the Year Award” to honor someone who has made an impact on their industry and the community. Community organizations are annually recognized as “Chamber Community Champions” at a summer luncheon, for their collective positive impact on our area. Leadership Butler County Graduates are showcased at our “Celebrate Business” Annual Dinner Meeting in September.
We’re all about… Community Caring.
We support the community actively through two of our affiliate organizations, Butler County Young Professionals and Leadership Butler County. Each group has worked on projects benefiting charitable endeavors in Butler County. Past recipients have been Children and Youth Services, the Blind Association of Butler County, Moraine Trails Boy Scouts, Butler County Children’s Center, Community Health Clinic of Butler County, Butler Emergency Relief Initiative, Big Brothers Big Sisters, VOICe as well as creative new projects such as emergency kits for the elderly. Proof positive that the Business Community is an active and concerned player in our overall quality of life.
