Leadership Butler County (Class of 2019) will be hosting the Pullman Park Toss Cornhole Tournament at Michelle Krill Field at Historic Pullman Park on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 in Butler, PA. This event will help raise funds for the Leadership ’19 Project, Arena Surfacing at Glade Run Adventures. The Butler Eagle, as well as the AM Rotary Club of Butler and Butler Cubs have signed up as major sponsors, and there are numerous ways that you can join them.

Glade Run Adventures is a year-round Therapeutic Animal and Horticulture Program serving at risk children and individuals struggling with mental, behavioral and emotional health issues. Over time, the equine riding arenas have deteriorated to the point that they are causing significant physical impairments for horses. It is our hope that provision of new surfaces will allow Glade Run Adventures to continue their impactful services for many years to come. We are asking that you step in once again to support our class project.

The day promises to be a fun one, for participants in the tournament as well as spectators. This “Family Friendly” event is open to anyone, and we encourage you to bring a group to enjoy the festivities. An information flyer is enclosed in the newsletter. Team (two players) registration is only $60.00, spectator fee $20.00 (includes food, 2 drinks, chips and tee shirt per person). Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. with Toss at noon. First place team will receive $800.00 in gift cards, and second place team $400.00 in gift cards.

Donation checks should be made payable to New Visions for Butler c/o Leadership Butler County, P.O. Box 1082, Butler, PA 16003-1082.
