Nominations are now being accepted for the 18th Annual Employee of the Year Award. Nominate an outstanding employee or business colleague from your business or organization – someone that goes beyond the call of duty to get the job done!

Sponsored by Butler Memorial Hospital, the Annual Employee of the Year Award is presented each year during the Butler County Chamber’s Employee Appreciation Day Luncheon. This year’s luncheon will be a return trip to Italy, and is sponsored by The Atrium, Medure’s Catering and the Butler Eagle and will take place on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at The Atrium. Reservations are $25.00 per person, and our theme this year is sure to please your employees.

Nominees for the Employee of the Year Award must be a current employee of a Butler County business. The recipient will be chosen by a panel of judges consisting of past recipients. Past award recipients include Jennifer Roxbury, Farmers National Bank; Tammy Schuey, Butler Eagle; John Brock, Stantec, Retired; Becky Craig, Sonneborn; Debbie Sinz, Butler Health System; Benjamin Kline, Keystone Specialties, Inc.; Rebecca Swartzentruber, Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; Rebecca Traggiai, Community Care Connections, Lexie Jones, Butler County Community College, Alice Lunn, Butler Eagle, Judy Connelly, Good Samaritan Hospice, Donna Haid, UPMC Pittsburgh, Retired, Brenda Campbell, Chicora Medical Center, Aubery Hulings, Farmers National Bank, Beth Foringer, Community Health Clinic of Butler County and Darlene Christy, Assistant Director of Nursing at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and last year’s winner Maria Thomas, County of Butler.
