The Butler Region of the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania will recognize women in Butler County history at its annual
Women’s Leadership Council Mixer on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Pittsburgh North Marriott, 100 Cranberry Woods Dr., Cranberry Township, PA 16066. The event, which will include hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a basket raffle, offers an opportunity to meet members of the Women’s Leadership Council, learn about the women in Butler County making history and the initiatives of the United Way.

The Butler Women’s Leadership Council (WLC), is a dedicated network of women who are passionate about making our community stronger. This giving society of women is comprised of individuals who use their energy, talent and passion to advocate for social change, primarily those of benefit to women and children. Members can network with other local business women and community leaders and take a leadership role with United Way to address the community’s most critical needs. The committee is co-chaired by Debbie Hopper, Mars Bank; Wendy Sciullo, Mars Bank and Julie Anderson, Trinity Elder Law. Proceeds from the event will benefit Women’s Leadership Council initiatives in Butler County.
