Professional Ethics in the Digital Age

Interactive Training Slated for February

The Monarch Institute is hosting Dr. Louise Stranger on February 12, 2019 at 9AM for a 6-hour interactive course titled: Professional Ethics in the Digital Age. This will be a lively interactive training taking a closer look at rules and regulations governing digital communications, the use of social media, telepsychology, crossing state lines as a licensed provider, advertising and ethics, the impact of the opioid epidemic on delivery of services, legalization of marijuana, global ethical issues like the #MeToo movement, and ethics from individual (Micro), group (Mezo), and community (Macro) perspectives.

Dr. Stanger has over thirty-five years of experience as a college professor, researcher with five million in government grants, and a licensed clinician, working with families and individuals who experience substance abuse and mental health disorders. There will be 6 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) available. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

The mission of Family Pathways is to bring hope and healing to traumatized children and their families and to enhance the physical and emotional health of the individuals we serve.
