Twenty-four business professionals will be honored as the 17th Annual Leadership Butler CountyÂ class of graduates during the United Way of Butler County Annual Meeting and Leadership Butler County Graduation on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. in Founders Hall at Butler County Community College.

Leadership Butler County is a nine-month leadership program bringing together perspectives of local, regional and national presenters, authorities on local issues, volunteers and beneficiaries of county-wide programs and services. The program exposes participants to issues, resources and opportunities in the Butler area as well as building the skills required to be an effective community leader. Leadership Butler County is an affiliate program of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce and works in partnership with Butler County Community College, Slippery Rock University, Cranberry Area Chamber of Commerce, Zelionople/Harmony Area Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Butler County.
