Being ambitious is never a problem for successful businesses and our new Board Chair and Directors have set a goal of increasing our membership dramatically. Currently at close to 600 member businesses, it is our goal to bring our numbers to 1,000 members over the next five years. Headed up by an aggressive
Membership Committee and Board of Directors, we will tap into the wealth of registered businesses, and an abundance of active and thriving companies in Butler County.
To accomplish this, we need to expand the work beyond the committee; we need all of our current members to assist us by encouraging your friends, neighbor businesses and professional associates to join our organization. When we say “We Mean Business” we show it, and we remember our roots and concentrate on the well being of Butler County. Through cooperative efforts with other Butler County focused agencies, we have managed to accomplish great things since our founding in 1896.
Many have no idea as to what our Chamber has to offer them. The Butler County Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic and commercial progress of our community. The area’s economic well being is related directly to the caliber of work that is done by the Chamber. That is why the Butler County Chamber has a major impact on business, income, and the future growth of the area. There are two primary functions of a chamber of commerce: (1) it acts as a spokesman for the business and professional community and translates into action the group thinking of its members, and (2) it renders specific services of a type that can be most effectively rendered by a community organization, both to its members and to the community as a whole.
So if you know of a business that is not already a chamber member let us know and we will contact them. Winners are affiliated with the largest business advocacy group in Butler County. We encourage ambition and as we constantly repeat “We Mean Business” in Butler County.
